Welcome to our website.

“Psi Los” Foundation was created in 2011. The founders are closely connected with the animal lovers’ website “Chwila dla Pupila,” which, since its creation, has unceasingly been helping homeless animals and pro-animal organizations.

The foundation achieves its goals by offering various forms of support to animal shelters and other organizations providing for homeless and harmed animals.

We hope that with our combined efforts, including your generous help, we will change the lives of homeless animals for the better.

Assisting dog need help…

Igor is not only a dog. He is a creature which had changed Magda’s life and allowed her to realize many dreams, including the one about relative independence. The cancer which attacked him rarely leads to metastasis but keeps developing. The 7-year-old Igor is retired but, as much as hid disease allows him, he is still helping Magda. A golden retriever named Egon is to replace him. more…

Harbutowice Shelter – will the dogs be hungry?

The shelter in Harbutowice near Krakow, which is run by an elderly couple, Mr and Mrs Dobrzanski, is home for almost one hundred dogs, most of them old and ill, often surrendered to the shelter after their owners’ death. A dog saved from pseudo-shelter already in foster home

On 10th May another dog came under our Foundation’s care. A lovely, 3-year-old German Shepherd mix she dog come to Krakow. She spent three months in one of the worst Polish shelters, devoid of medical care, fed bread and water. She is malnourished, one can easily feel her ribs and backbone. She was placed in our foster home, where it took her only a few hours to show how wonderful she is. more…

Social Campaign “True Friendship is for free”

After many months of preparation, our Foundation’s first social campaign has started. “True Friendship is for free” is a pro-animal project, which aims at drawing public attention to the problem of homeless animals and, most of all, at encouraging shelter adoptions. We would like to convince the society that it is adopting animals and not buying that contributes to the welfare of companion animals. The campaign is part of the current social and media trend to reveal and condemn cases of cruelty to animals and to make the public more aware of animal welfare issues. more…

Dog food and collars for Zbludowice shelter

On 27th April 2012 our Foundation donated to the animal shelter in Busko Zdrój again. 140 kg of dog food and 50 dog collars od different sizes were sent to the shelter. About 200 dogs are waiting there for new loving homes. On the shelter’s website you will find the photos and descriptions of the its inhabitants.
